Birch Pereira is a Seattle professional musician, composer and sound editor.  He plays bass and composes with many bands including Theoretics, Common Market, , Vunt Foom, Golden Tree Story and a multitude of jazz/R& B and World music projects.  He composed the original soundtrack for The Mr. Azymuth Suite, which featured his group Vunt Foom, and collaborated with pianist Tim Kennedy on the score for A Jazzman’s Jazzman: The Gerry Carruthers Story. He has been featured on over ten albums of which he co-edited and produced three.
